“It’s convenient when I can copy details from invoices or contracts instead of looking them up again.”
Redesigning payments in Alfa Business Mobile for small and medium businesses. The goal was to make business payments easier to complete, with less manual entry and clearer next steps.

I ran several rounds of competitive research to understand the regulatory landscape, see how other teams solve similar user needs, and identify patterns worth bringing into Alfa Business Mobile. The detailed audit is available in the full case study.
I also mapped the existing payment journeys using product analytics, data from the data analyst, and user feedback collected through support. This made it possible to see the main paths, identify missing steps, and highlight where the experience was breaking down.
I analysed four market leaders besides Alfa-Bank, mapping their payment flows, the fields they use, and the sequence in which users complete them. I documented the comparison in a matrix to identify common patterns, gaps, and the ways Alfa-Bank’s flow differs from the competition.

I mapped the current journeys to understand how users interact with the app today and where they encounter friction. The ❌ marks paths that do not exist in the current product and therefore cannot be completed today. Based on this map, I proposed alternative flows that would help users reach their goals faster and translated them into a redesigned payment experience.
